Vision into action: The 3 MUSTS

Everyone knows that before you can climb to the top of a mountain, you must have a strategy to get there.

Failing to reach a goal can always be a disheartening experience, but all too often, this occurs as the result of failing to properly commit to your goal and putting your vision into action.

Here we offer three tips to help you transform your vision into action.

1: Be clear

This is not exactly rocket science, but you have to be 100% clear about what it is you want before you can start to put your vision into action. If you have any doubt about what it is you ultimately want, then the path to get there will be just as murky. You are far better taking the time to establish what you really want than to rush into a goal that is only half considered.

2: Be a believer (in yourself)

A key step that is often overlooked when it comes to putting vision into action is the belief in your goal and your own ability to reach it. If you don’t passionately believe in what it is you are working towards, why would anyone else? As artist Vincent Van Gough once said, “If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced."

3: Remember, action is your friend

Clarity will set the tone, the belief will fuel the fire but only the will actually breathe life into your goal. Once you have the goal and the belief in yourself, you need to pursue your goal passionately! Life is so busy, it is all too easy to put things on the back-burner, but if you allow your goal to be last on your list, the simple reality is that you will either miss out on achieving it altogether or you will waste precious time. Make your goal a priority in your life and pursue it with passion!
